Hello Everyone,

I’m Vikas Shelar, a Paragliding Tandem Pilot and Instructor with over 14 years of experience in this incredible sport. My journey began in 2010 when I took my first flight and instantly knew I wanted to make paragliding my profession.

After undergoing advanced training and passing exams, I earned my Pro Tandem License in 2016 from the International Paragliding Association (APPI), followed by my Instructor License in 2022. These certifications are internationally recognized under the APPI-FAI-ACI education system.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of flying at international sites, meeting amazing people, and learning new concepts along the way. I've flown across India, including Bir Billing in the North, and even had the unforgettable experience of soaring through the skies of Bali, Indonesia.

Now, I’m focused on sharing this joy with others as I continue my journey. The sky is waiting—let’s fly together!

How will be your Flight Experience?

1. Preparation: When it’s time for take-off, a licensed pilot will give you a thorough briefing. You’ll then put on your harness (a comfortable seat) and helmet. The pilot will ensure everything is secure and that you’re comfortable before attaching you for the flight. After a final safety check, you’ll be ready to fly!

2. In Flight: As you take off, you’ll immediately feel the thrill of being in the sky. Enjoy breathtaking views of the lake below, surrounded by forts and mountains. Your pilot will provide commentary throughout the flight. Capture the moment with a ‘Selfie in the Sky!’ or simply relax and enjoy the fresh breeze and stunning vistas. You might even spot a bird flying alongside you briefly, sharing the sky.

3. Landing: Your pilot will handle the landing with expertise, ensuring a smooth and gentle touchdown. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how effortless and secure the landing feels.

4. After the Flight: Once you’ve landed, the Tandem in-charge will present you with your flight certificate (If applicable) and transfer your HD video footage (If applicable) to your phone.
